WinMUN is proud to host our first ever FREE online crisis training simulation. Held online monthly, these conferences give delegates anywhere around the world a chance to compete and hone there skills in crisis and GA (see our related WinMUN conferences for GA). WINMUN I will focus on a single crisis committee to allow delegates to learn the skills required to succeed at a state and national level.
📄Certification: All delegates can receive official certificates of participation upon request, in addition to any awards received📄
🎓In addition, if you need a position paper graded, speech proof, or written performance feedback for a class feel free to let us know (at least a couple days in advance) and we will be happy to provide it 🎓

Schedule: All times in UTC+0--Opening and closing ceremonies are not mandatory but highly encouraged
- Opening Ceremony: 3:30 PM
- Session 1: 4:00 PM
- Session 2: 5:15 PM
- Session 3: 6:30 PM
- Session 4: 7:45 PM
- Session 5: 9:00 PM
- Closing Ceremony: 10:30 PM
Format: This competition will operate with crisis chambers consisting of a frontroom (typical debate with directives) and a backroom communicated with using crisis notes from your assigned character to influence crisis updates based around the original topic and developments incuced by other members of the chamber in crisis notes and directives
- This simulation will consist of five 1-hour rounds with a crisis update at the middle and beginning of each session
💻Location: Online on a Google Meet 💻
Communication: We will send out background guides and position confirmation through the WinMUN WhatsApp group. If you are unable to access WhatsApp, we will work with you to find an alternative means of communication. Please complete the application process and answer all questions to receive an invitation to our WhatsApp.
Committees: This conference will offer specifically crisis simulations (if you do GA, stay on the lookout for WINMIN I GA in July 2025). The number of these committees will depend on the registration numbers.

Applications: All delegates/delegations are expected to fill out an application and provide a method of communication. Expect an acceptance within 24-72 hours after submitting. If you don't get accepted within this time frame, feel free to reach out to us.

🏆Awards: the top 5 delegates placing within the chamber will be officially recognized as follows:
- Best Delegate (1 delegate; 1st place)
- Outstanding Delegate (1 delegate; 2nd place)
- Honorable Delegate (1 delegate; 3rd place)
- Verbal Commendations (2 delegates; 4th and 5th places)
- Best position paper (the delegate who wins this WILL be eligable for other awards too)

Note: The number of awards given may fluctuate on confence day based on attendance but will not stray from the proportion of ¼ of the committee getting recognized.
